Continuation of the scientific communications
A part of the work of Anaximandre is a continuation of the competence developed for scientific communications, or may contribute to the scientific communications plan itself.
For example, if a biotechnology specialized in gene therapy needs to show how a specific restriction enzyme operate on a specific DNA sequence, Anaximandre is able to rebuilt the 3D-interaction between the 2 molecules from their PDB files.
Other bioinformatics services
In addition to modelized biological and non-biological molecules from PDB files, Anaximandre provides custom development of on-line applications for biotechnologies.
Anaximandre is also involved in R&D program aiming to modelize the cell signal transduction pathways.
Different professions in bioinformatics
There are three different competences or skills of Anaximandre in bioinformatics :
- modeling of molecules and docking
- development of specific on-line applications for
biotech and pharmaceutical companies
- modeling of biological proce

Known Molecules are usually stored as PDB (Protein DataBase) files. Loading these PDB files into specific programs (LabView, ...) allows to represent and show the molecules of interest. The recreated predictive molecules are later loaded into Povray, a rendering program. |

Furthermore, different views of a molecule from different angles can be made and assembled into Flash® or QuickTime® VR files in order to be manipulated by the user. |

|
This treatment can be applied to biogical molecules (DNA, restriction enzyme, peptides, ...) as well as mineral molecules (andalusite, mullite, ...) |
